We Are Looking Out For You!
If you receive a telephone call asking about a charge on your debit card, it may be because we monitor debit card activity for potentially fraudulent activity. Things that can trigger a call may include changes in patterns, such as:
- A sudden change in locale - US issued card used overseas.
- Uncharacteristic string of costly purchases.
- Any pattern associated with new fraud trends around the world.
- Purchases in two or more geographical locations at the same time.
Our goal is to minimize your exposure to risk and to the impact of any fraud. To help us, please keep us informed of your correct address and phone number at all times. Be diligent in monitoring transaction activity on your account, and contact us immediately if you identify any fraudulent activity. The call center staff will not ask for your social security number or your account number. They will call to confirm that the transaction is valid or that there has been unauthorized use of your card. If you are unable to answer your phone at the time of their call, you may call back at the following number: US - 877-505-8474; Outside US (collect) - 651-361-2021.
